The Journey Starts Here

Getting to Tumbler Ridge is easier than many think!  There are many options on this page but we also encourage you to call our Visitor Info Centre at +1(250)242-3123 for additional information.   Another great resource is DriveBC which has up to date info on highway delays (construction etc).

Driving here from Vancouver / Lower Mainland

Many drive from the lower mainland and we recommend coming up the scenic Fraser Canyon (Highway 1 Hope to Cache Creek).  From there it is a lovely drive through the Cariboo (Highway 97) to the city of Prince George.  Beyond that you’ll be going through Hart Ranges of the Northern rockies on the Pine Pass Highway (Built in 1952 – a decade after the Alaska Highway).

Driving here from Alberta

The Traditional route into the entire Peace Country is through Alberta and we continue to welcome our Albertan neighbours to the region.  The drive here from Edmonton / Grand Prairie on Highway 43 is easy and straightforward.
